History Remembered

History Remembered

This picture was taken on my recent trip to Montreal. I wish I had time to read the signs around this artillery cannon but, as you can see from all the snow, it wasn’t easy to find (or read).

The color photo was almost black and while given the white-out conditions of the snow storm I was in. So I finished the job using Photoshop CS3 – which I’m trying out before I plunk down an obscene amount of $$ for it.

Anyway, to complete the old feeling of the B&W, I added noise to create that World War II -like effect.
