Atlas

Atlas

Living in New York City, you sometimes take things like the statue of Atlas by Lee Lawrie for granted. Its there and part of the landscape – almost as if it naturally occurred there like single blade of grass or a tree; its no less beautiful but is somehow lost amongst the rest of the scenery.

But last night, as I walked around town with my brother who is visiting from Denver, I stopped to look at Lawrie’s work a little more closely and became inspired by it. While I could never guild anything as dramatic and profound as Atlas, I can aspire to create something special in photo, print, or deeds.

Second TF2 Teaser Trailer
