Homeless and brilliant

by Christopher Paul on January 3, 2006

I’m typing this on my blackberry so I’m sorry for any typos.

Anway, on my way home, I passed a homeless man who was, in a loud voice, telling everyone that women hate men. He didn’t let everyone assume he was crazy, though, and explained why it is.

He said that men are stronger, taller, faster, and smarter. Now we all know it is generally the case with the physical characteristics and men – typically – are, in fact, those things. Yes, women are faster, stronger, blah, blah, blah in some cases; I’d be a fool to be so sexist and say that it is always the way things are. We also know that intelligence us equally found (or in most people, not found) amongst the sexes and there really can’t be any way to prove men or women are smarter than the other although it may appear one sided – the side being that of the gender that you, the reader, belong to.

Crazy Homeless (CH for short), then went on to say why women hate men and that’s when he really hit it home. He claimed women hated men because they were filled with envy and jealousy towards their sexual counterparts for being smarter, fas- you get the point. But what he said is true. People hate other people, in part, because they are envious of someone or something else. That enviousness boils into hatred when it us dwelled upon and the hatred grows even greater still. Its why envy us one of the deadly sins or something like that.

Now I know hatred us also created and fueled by ignorance and I would even say that it is why people become jealous of others in the first place. But if everyone say and thought about what CH said and what it means, we’d see less hatred in this world.

Blah, blah, blah.
