I did my hoog feed for the month. I picked up a dropped cellphone that fell from some guy’s bag as he raced to catch and E train at the 5th Ave station. He knew it dropped but fell right in front of my foot as I was getting off the stairs.

Without missing a beat, I scooped it up and tossed it right back at the guy who darted off to get in the car just as the doors were closing. They locked just as his backback cleared the entrance.

And…. I was able to move out of the way for other people to catch the train too.

I feel good about my feed but more impressed with my swift reaction.

Its the good deed that counts – even if its the only one I do this month.
