I did finally get my Ubuntu workstation upgraded to 6.10 and it works just fine.  I finally got the fast, 64-bit OS with Firefox 2.0 and working video drivers.  Now I just have to figure out how it install Adobe Flash and then I might not need to get a Mac Mini…
