My First HDR Photo

My First HDR Photo

I took the tripod out after Hurricane Hanna passed and took some pictures of the buildings near me. I used the ‘bracketing’ features of my camera to produce three different images in an attempt to create an High Dynamic Range photo. The only tutorial for producing HDRs with GIMP wasn’t the most helpful but I think I followed the directions they way the author intended.

This image doesn’t look like the original three so I’ll assume that whatever I did, it created an HDR. I’ll be sure to play around with this a little more and see if this affects my photography any. If anyone has more advice or tips on how to create HDRs in GIMP or Photoshop, I’d really appreciate them.
