Fuel Consumption Per Capita

I thought this was interesting. Consumerist points us to a visualization from The Infrastructurist. The picture below shows how much each gas each state consumes and compares it to its population. New York, while a large state that would require more consumption to move around in, gets a green color, in part, because so many people living in New York City don’t drive (or drive very little).
