Earlier in the week, the NY Times (among many others) covered the news of Johnny Carson’s videos being available online to watch. They’re also hawking DVDs of his performances and interviews spanning the nearly three decades he hosted The Tonight Show.
He was a funny guy and while I’m still a David Letterman fan, you can’t ignore the impact Johnny Carson had on late night television and the hosts that came after him including Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien.
