So I’ve been thinking of reinventing the site for a while now. I’ve thought of going text only like Daring Fireball or The Brooks Report run by John Gruber and Ben Brooks, respectively. I also thought about keeping things a mix of text and media – like Jason Kottke – but with a lighter theme than K2 which is what I’ve been using for a long while.

So starting today, I’m going to run some experiments with a new theme, Thematic. I’m still kicking the tires on it and changing things around so the site will be “under construction” for a while while I figure the look & feel out.

I’m trying to keep the site clean, light, fast, and minimalistic – which has been a major goal in my life for a few months. We’ll see how it goes.

Also, I’m thinking of turning off comments. I’ve enabled a Facebook page and I’m always on Twitter. I don’t know if fighting the spam day in day out is worth anymore. But if you feel otherwise, sound of somehow.
