Michael Gough, recently remembered for playing Batman’s butler, Alfred, has died. He was 94.
Interesting trivia:
Gough was one of only two actors to star in Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin with Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney.
Gough was involved in a few other Tim Burton movies, too. He was in Sleepy Hollow, The Corpse Bride, and Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp.
“Tim Burton was a huge fan of Mick from the Hammer Horror films of the 60s, so he tried very hard to include him in everything he did,” his agent told the BBC.
I think I’m going to have to watch the 1989 version of Batman this weekend.
