Will Square Power Apple Retail Store Transactions?

Leena Rao reporting for TechCrunch that Square card reader devices are going to be sold and promoted in Apple retail stores:

Interestingly, Apple doesn’t use Square in its stores for transactions but perhaps this could change as Square gains more traction and expand with international support.

You can almost bet that with only a 2.75% transaction fee, Apple would consider using Square if the seminars, feedback, and promotions work out well.

Square is dead simple to set up and use and Apple likes things that just work.
