by Christopher Paul on April 23, 2011

John Belitsky and a friend took a New York City Cab to Los Angeles, California and documented the trip on Twitter. He paid $5000 for the ride which would normally cost about $17,000 if he was on the meter.

The 2,448-mile trip took six days and included a stop in Las Vegas where the friends won $2,000.

On 22 April, after their winning streak in Las Vegas, he tweeted: “Woke up Alam to a shower of $100 bills at sunrise.”
