Every Transformer Movie Transformation

by Christopher Paul on February 3, 2014

I don’t know about you, but the only reason I watched the Transformer movies was to see them transform. And thanks to the miracle that is the interweb, we get to see every single Transformer transform in the three Transformers Movies (say *that* three times fast).

Oh… and there’s a new movie coming out in June.

The Water Footprint of Eggs, Meat, and Other Products

by Christopher Paul on February 3, 2014

According to this website (and like any amateur blogger/writer guy, I did not do any fact checking and I’m taking their word… as you do), it takes about 52 gallons of water to produce an egg just over 2 oz. You don’t even want to know how inefficient it is to produce bio-fuels made of soy (corn, beets, and cane sugar are much better).

Thankfully, it only takes about 40 gallons to make a single US pint of beer.

Business Jargon Generator

by Christopher Paul on January 2, 2014

I once joked on Facebook that my business jargon finds it’s way into my personal life. There’s nothing wrong with jargon but you have to understand it’s just another adjective to describe something; it’s calling something rose colored instead of red.

If you want to work on your own jargon, the Wall Street Journal made a Buzzword Generator for you to play with. If they ever turned it into an Ipsum generator, most presentations would be done in seconds. All you’d have to do is insert a chart or an insert of an arrow somewhere.

The Rapid Packing Container

by Christopher Paul on December 27, 2013

I love Amazon Prime for the speed in which things arrive. I love Fresh Direct for the convenience of foods delivered to my door in a time window of my choosing.

I hate the packaging.

Most of my shopping is done at my local stores with reusable bags or my own briefcase or backpack. But if you must use a box, this seems like a great alternative to the traditional packaging.

Quick to fold, much less tape, and reusable for easy returns. It’s amazing that I haven’t seen this used by Amazon or other online retailers yet.
