The choices we make about our time determine the emotional response to the experiences we have. Therefore, it’s important to do what we love while enjoying contrasting experiences, and creating good habits as part of a whole and harmonious life.
You have to love what you do or there’s no sense in doing it.

That ladies and gentlemen is what I call useful information. Red, yellow, and green lines don’t tell you much other than what you likely already know. However knowing that there is an actual accident ahead, where it is, and the lane it is blocking is nothing short of awesome.
I didn’t even know Apple’s Maps did that.
by Christopher Paul on October 12, 2012 Matt Alexander talking about a side effect he noticed when deciding when and what to share on Twitter vs App.Net.
There’s a fine line between truly interacting with people and just yelling loudly into a room filled with other people yelling loudly. In my eyes, Twitter seems to embody the latter, whilst App.net has the potential to enable the former. Perhaps we should embrace the “decision” side-effect, and bring that to fruition.
Effectively, his own style of communication changed when seemingly like but conflicting networks vied for his attention and expression.
