Derek Jeter retires at the end of the 2014 season. Nike and the Michael Jordan franchise produced a great commercial honoring The Captain which, I must say, made me feel proud to have watched his entire career.

I remember when he and the rest of the Yankees won the World Series in 1996 and the celebrations afterwards. But there was no way I could have known it was the start continuation of Yankee history.
