Typeface Used By Influential Film Makers

by Christopher Paul on September 14, 2012

I've been researching fonts quite a bit over the last few months and years. Chalk it up to having a family who's into design and typeface. I've also come to appreciate indie films and film makers. So when I saw Flavorwire looked into the two together, I had to share it.

I think I'm most appreciative of Wes Anderson's custom font commissioned for his film, Moonrise Kingdom, but there are great observations about Woody Allen, Alfred Hitchcock, and Stanley Kubrick.
